Trillium greens have emerged, and soon their blooms will open. My current knitting project is a study of the red trillium, a beauty among beauty. It's cheering me up on this rainy feeling-under-the-weather kind of day. Drink up, sweet trilliums.

I learned red trillium are also called
wake-robin trillium. What a name! This poem refers to wake-robin trillium. Oh, and for those of you who've been following my blog--this is another poem with
scat in it. ;) It is gorgeous.
