Day 77 -- Poetry Shenanigans

Friend Space, Reading Space, Breathing Space
Tonight Gerry Sell, Angela Kanuer Williams and I go to listen to and participate in the Spring Read at the Oliver Art Center.

Angela and I were among a group of poets and writers who read their work. Gerry was content to be the best supporting listener and clapper, though she is a talented writer.

Gerry and I carpooled and split the driving. Without her I would not have made the almost 2 hour trip to Frankfort tonight.

Without Angela, I might not have taken the time to watch the sun set on Lake Michigan.

Thank you, ladies. May our writing groups follow through on our plan to converge. Only good can come of it.

Which is all to say, today I played with poetry. Poetry never lets me down.
